This is a property in a lovely part of Netheredge, Sheffield. The garden had been neglected for years, apart from the occasional mow ( weeds and grass ! ). The fence had seen better days, and trees and stumps throughout , in various stages of decay. The ground had very poor soil, full of rocks, as well as a mattress, a Tesco shopping trolley, and a cow's horn !
First job was to apply for permits from Sheffield City Council to remove trees and stumps - this service was provided by the brilliant Sheffield company, Acme Arbor.
Second job was to clear the ground, and then add 40 tonnes of topsoil. Then we were able to take down the trees and grind away the stumps.
At last, we started consructing again - 40 metres of retaining walls, raised beds, and a staircase, running from the higher level of the propery , down to the bottom lawn.
Our customers decided to have a bespoke Pergola built, with laser cut aluminium panels, and specially cut and coated aluminium beams - not a small job !
Brand new composite fence, staircase, and granite, and we are (nearly ) done.
The project now it has matured - 2021
